What we do
We research, compare, and rank robot lawn mowers for U.S. yards. Every recommendation is based on published specs — coverage, slope, navigation, app polish, noise, maintenance — compared against the alternatives in the same class.
How we stay independent
We earn an affiliate commission when readers buy through our Amazon links — at no extra cost to you. That commission never changes our ranking. A model that wins because it's the right pick wins regardless of the click-through rate it sends to Amazon.
We do not accept paid placements, sponsored "best of" slots, or manufacturer-written copy. When a product disappoints in aggregated owner feedback, we say so. When our recommendation changes, we update the article date and note what changed.
How we research
We are a research-based comparison site, not a hands-on testing lab. For every mower in the catalog, we cross-reference manufacturer specs and product documentation against aggregated independent owner reviews and dealer notes. Coverage numbers are adjusted down where owner reports consistently show shortfall. Slope ratings get headroom baked in for wet-grass reality.
